Chalet & facilities

The house is a traditional alpine stone farmhouse built in the nineteenth century. It has been completely renovated and now includes all modern conveniences, while retaining many traditional features.

There are three balconies and a large sun terrace with far reaching views down the valley.

Sleeping:
The Chalet has three double beds, bunk beds and a single bed. There is also a double sofa bed, two comfortable camp beds and a baby’s cot available. There is a portable TV/DVD player in the bunk room.

Fresh bedding and towels will be provided in the Chalet for your use. A hairdryer is also available.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including all cutlery, crockery, utensils, fridge/freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, etc. There is also a table with five chairs. Ironing facilities are available.

Lounge:
Relax by the open woodburner, while listening to CDs or watching television, a DVD or video. For the kids there is a games console with a variety of games. If you need to be contactable there is a phone. There are two large sofas and a dining table to accommodate 8 comfortably. Finally there are a number of games (Uno, Trivia Pursuit, Scrabble, Connect 4, Jenga) and books if you forget your own.

Sun Terrace:
There is a large picnic table with benches, ideally for a summer breakfast or evening barbeque.

Cellar:
There is plenty of hot water supplied by two massive tanks. Also in the large cellar are the washer and dryer and plenty of storage space for skis or cycles.

For Babies:
You will find a cot and a high chair, and we will try to assist you with contacts for babysitting.

General:
You will find the house in spotless condition with fresh sheets and towels for all. A maid service will ensure the house is ready for your occupation.

We encourage you to feel at home at Les Cours.
